Meety operates the website Meety.gr (the “Platform”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection and use of Personal Data when you use our Platform.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data by us, unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy. Our goal is to have as genuine interactions as possible therefore we deemed to make the data above mandatory. None of it shared with third parties unless stated differently in this privacy policy.

When you purchase a product or subscription from us, you will be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details, and other relevant data to complete the payment through PayPal.

We will use this information for purposes such as:

• Processing payments and preventing fraud
• Setting up your account for our Platform
• Complying with any legal obligations we have, such as tax calculations
• Improving our offers on the Platform

If you create an account, we may store information such as your name and email, data that will be used to fill in your details in future interactions on our Platform.

We store your information only as long as we need it. For example, we will store transaction information for 4 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes the details provided to PayPal to complete a purchase.

4. Who in our team has access?

Members of our team have limited access according to their role to the information you provide us. For example, only the head of  the administration can access:
• Order information such as what was purchased and when it was purchased.
• User information such as your name and email address.
• Messages you send in case of reports and malicious use of the Platform.

Members of our team have limited access just to information they need to resolve issues and keep the Platform running smoothly.

5. Third-party service providers

We may work with third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the provision of our services, for maintenance, or for management.

These third parties have access only to the necessary Personal Data to perform their tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use your personal data for any other purpose.

We share information with third parties who help us manage our orders/transactions and provide services to you.

6.1 Payments

We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to provide the service such as purchase totals and billing information. Read the Stripe Privacy Policy for more details.

6.2 Notifications

We use the services of Onesignal to provide notifications to our app users if they choose to receive them. Onesignal may use information such as your device type and IP to send you notifications. Read the Onesignal Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Security

We take all appropriate measures to secure your data and protect it from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, and any other form of unlawful processing.

For example, we remove all your personal data from photos you upload to the Platform, known as “metadata” and randomize file names to improve privacy.

We do our best to protect your personal data, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security as no electronic storage or transmission method is 100% secure.

8. Links to third-party websites

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites that we do not operate. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s website. We advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every website you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Our Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have it deleted.
